Hours: Monday-Friday 7:30 am-4:00 pm with the occasional opportunity of overtime. 

 Pay: $25.00-$30.00 with annual performance evaluations

Position Responsibility Overview: Our Electrical Foremen are responsible for leading an electrical crew on commercial construction sites in the triangle area. Their primary role is to plan, supervise, and perform all phases of installation, maintenance, repair, and inspection of electrical systems and service work in new or remodeled facilities, as per project drawings, specifications, and in accordance with applicable electrical codes.A key component in the success of an electrical foreman is the ability to troubleshoot and effectively communicate with the project managers and/or field supervisor for a resolution to ensure customer satisfaction and job deadlines are met.· Supervise and train a crew of 5 - 15 electrical helpers and temp employees;· Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine the layout of electrical equipment installations;· Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components;· Prioritize and delegate tasks and responsibilities to crew members with the ability to adapt to changes in the workload;· Be the point of contact with the general contractor’s site superintendent;· Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all company guidelines and OSHA safety requirements and also through reporting violations of policies, procedures, and guidelines to the immediate supervisor;· Controlling inventory on the company truck, job-site, and in/out of stock; for active jobs proactively creating supply lists and reporting any discrepancies to the project managers;· Inspect jobs upon completion and ensure areas are clean;

Required Experience, Knowledge & Skills:· Proficient at bending conduit;· Experience in troubleshooting electrical equipment and systems;· Experience planning and carrying out electrical construction tasks in a team environment;· Experience working with and maintaining various fire alarm systems;· Experience performing work on power distribution systems;· Experience interpreting blueprints and specifications;· Experience completing underground electrical work;· Proven track record of leading by example and providing exceptional guidance to the crew;· Ability to form material lists;· Candidates must be comfortable working at heights;· Good troubleshooting skills, repair abilities, and installation skills;· Able to work in high pressure, time-sensitive conditions;· Attention to detail;· Strong communications skills (verbal and interpersonal/email) and customer service orientation;· Strong work ethic and positive attitude;· Ability to supervise others’ work and coach for performance

Physical ability: lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds; climb ladders, bend, stoop, work in awkward positions for several hours at a time in environments that are occasionally hot, muddy, or wet.Must bring your own personal hand tools.
